PCF provides indoor restrooms with running water and flushing toilets.
The property must be cleared out by midnight on Friday and Saturday, and by 3:30pm on Sunday. Please keep in mind that your event may need to end earlier to allow your vendor(s) time to clear their items from the venue.
In accordance with Wisconsin Department of Revenue rules, Guest IS permitted to serve, but not sell, alcohol at Guest's private event on the premises as PCF does not have a liquor license. (Click here to read current law - March 20, 2019.) Pioneer Creek Farm does not provide alcoholic beverages, nor bartending services. If liquor will be served, a licensed and insured bartender from PCF's Vendor list must be used to serve all alcohol. Guest assumes all liability for any and all consequences of alcohol consumption. This includes, but is not limited to, adverse health reactions, property damage and 3rd-party liability claims. Pioneer Creek Farm, LLC, its owners, personnel and insurance carriers are exempt from any and all liabilities that may result from serving alcohol at your event. An easily-obtained Host Liquor Policy may be required. Please advise your guests that PCF does not permit them to carry-in liquor. PCF does reserve the right to have guests removed for unruly behavior. Bar service must end by 10:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights, and 3:00 pm on Sundays.
We do not provide kitchen facilities. There is a vendor staging area next to the barn which your caterer can use to make final preparations to the presentation of the food. We ask all caterers new to PCF visit the farm prior to your event.
PCF supplies white padded folding chairs to seat up to 200 for outdoor ceremonies, and 200 eclectic wooden chairs for use inside the barn. You may provide your own outdoor seating (ie straw bales), if you would prefer. PCF will be responsible for set-up and take-down of the chairs PCF provides to limit damage to PCF property. You are responsible for all set-up/re-staging/take down of seating/tables you rent from an outside vendor.
PCF supplies rectangular tables for the barn/patio. These are all folding tables that need to be covered. PCF has an 8' portable bar, a 42" round table, and a 70" sideboard - all of which can be used for free and must remain inside the barn. PCF provides six whiskey barrel high tops, seating and a couple spool tables on our deck.
If the weather is inclement, PCF can move your ceremony into the covered pavilion at no charge. You can also move your ceremony into the barn at no charge, as long as guests sit at tables. If you choose to have the guests sit in rows (without tables) inside the barn, PCF charges a $350 fee for the labor involved in turning over the barn from ceremony to dinner seating. We do not allow the use of candles or flames inside the barn or on the deck, with the exception of catering/buffet service. There is no smoking inside the barns, on the deck, or on the grounds in general. A smoking area will be provided and we request it be used to avoid fire hazards and littering.
Fireworks, Tiki torches, candle flames and released lanterns are not permitted. Sparklers are permitted if metal bucket of water is provided. There is an above ground bonfire pit available. Wood must be purchased from PCF.

Rehearsal times for all weddings are provided on the Thursday prior to your event, and included in your rental fee. Time blocks of 4-5 pm, 5-6 pm or 6-7 pm are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, though we give Friday brides priority for the 4-5 pm time slot. This is for the rehearsal only; rehearsal dinner should be planned off-site.
Bride and Groom may have their Engagement Pictures taken at PCF anytime between the signing of the contract and the date of the wedding. The only limitation is that from May through October, due to weddings taking place on the grounds, pictures may only be taken Monday through Wednesday. Please give PCF 24 hours notice prior to arrival.

You may decorate the barn, grounds, pergola, etc. as long as there is no permanent damage. For example, we do not allow the use of staples, tacks, nails or duct tape. Glitter, fake petals, confetti, or other such artificial materials may not be used on the grounds or inside any facilities. We also do not permit "sixlet" type chocolates. When in doubt, please ask, which is the best way to see the return of your damage deposit.
PCF is not liable for lost or stolen items.
Live music is welcome, however we need to respect our neighbors, so excessively loud entertainment is not permitted. Music must end by 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and by 3:00 pm on Sundays. However, if your live band or DJ requires more time to pack up, your event may need to end earlier.
All guests and vendors must adhere to posted Venue boundaries and private area signage.
Farmers tend to their fields at the mercy of the weather - sun, rain, temperature, etc. - and not at the mercy of PCF or its guests. In other words, this authentic country setting may have ambient farm noises, smells, insects, etc. which are beyond our control.
We have four llamas! Olaf (white male, b. 2015), Pico (dark brown male, b. 2015), and super rare twins, Jack & Jill (white male, reddish-brown female, b. 2015). I've been told there are only 9 sets of registered twins in the U.S.!! They are well-mannered, and will eat pellets from your hand or provided buckets! Please do not feed them without staff assistance.
Our 4 ponds are stocked with bass, perch and bluegill. We welcome and encourage your guests to fish if you want to incorporate that into your wedding festivities. You will need to provide your own poles/worms.
