My GPS takes me to somewhere else?

On Apple's map, it likes to tell you we are in Campbellsport. If you insist on Lomira, sometimes it will switch the address to Super Drive instead of Superior Dr. It can be helpful to put Lomira/Campbellsport as the city on your invitations. Or mention it on your wedding website.

Do you have restrooms?

Yes! We have modern bathrooms for your guests as well as a private bathroom in the Bride's Room.

Where are the nearest hotels?

There are hotels close to the property in Lomira and Fond du Lac. Lomira is a 5-minute drive from the property. Fond du Lac is about a 15-minute drive.

How do I get power at the Pond ceremony site?

You will need a battery or generator for power. Home Depot is one option for renting quiet generators. Additionally, we offer a quiet generator as part of our rentals (included for free with the Weekend Package). You can also take advantage of our battery-powered cordless mic/speaker available for rent (included for free with the Weekend Package).

Can I decorate the Maple Tree?

Yes! You can decorate the tree as long as it can support the weight without bending the branches. It's crucial to remove any string tied around the branches at the end of your event to avoid strangling and damaging the tree. Please note that nailing, carving, or stapling anything into the tree is not allowed. If you're using a fabric drape, be sure to plan for at least 25 yards in length.

How big are the tables?

We offer rectangular guest tables that are 8' x 30" and 6' x 30". The guest tables typically are placed together, consisting of one 8' x 30" table and one 6' x 30" table (accommodating up to 15 guests).

How many tables will I need?

When you're ready to start planning your table decor, reach out to our team to create a sample layout for the barn. We'll need to know how many seats are at your head table and the expected number of additional guests. For a more detailed arrangement, it’s helpful to understand what other tables you will need (bar, buffet, appetizer, coffee, gift, cards, guestbook, memorial, etc.). You can finalize the layout during your final walk-through.

How many linens will I need?

Our team is here to assist you with your count. Here are a few important points to keep in mind: 1) Typically the caterers will handle covering the buffet tables, so you don't need to worry about that; 2) It's a good idea to check with your DJ if they require a table with linen, as they may bring their own; 3) Please ensure that all dining tables are covered.

Where do I get/file my marriage license?

Pioneer Creek Farm is technically in the town of Ashford, though it's mailing address is Lomira. Ashford, where we are actually located, is in Fond du Lac County. You can get your marriage license at a courthouse in WI convenient to you 7-60 days prior to your wedding. Your officiant will need to file it in Fond du Lac County.

Do you have WiFi?

Unfortunately, we do not have WiFi. Please make sure your DJ knows.

Can I have a sparkler send-off?

Absolutely! Sparkler send-offs are beautiful. Our staff will assist, but we do not provide sparklers. Please do not bring matches, our staff has propane torches to assist with lighting everyone's sparkler. Helpful tip: avoid sparklers covered in paper, as they create smoke that might spoil the photo op.

Can a guest - or can we - bring an RV or camper?

Unfortunately, we do not have the space for RV or camper parking on our grounds.

Can I light off fireworks?

Our insurance policy unfortunately prohibits the use of fireworks, Tiki torches, candle flames (with the exception of an insured catering service) and released lanterns. However, sparklers are allowed, but their use will need to be coordinated with our staff.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes! We do need to know in advance and ask that you fill out the pet addendum (provided upon request) at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
